Tara O'Connor

Tara is a former family carer, and has first hand experience of many of the issues family carers deal with on a daily basis. Tara was initially involved with the online Family Carer Support Group as a volunteer and has been leading the project since 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Newcastle University, and many years’ experience in administration and bookkeeping. She also has recently completed a micro-credential course in Trinity College Dublin on 'Digital Technologies in Human Services' and is currently undertaking a Certificate in Managing People with CMIT and a Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy with PCI College.
