Adele Spillane, CFA, CDir (Treasurer)

Adele joined the Board in September 2023 and is our Treasurer and Chairs our Finance, Quality, Audit & Risk Committee. She is a Chartered Director, and with close to 30 years experience in financial services, as well as significant governance experience, Adele brings a wealth of knowledge to her Non Executive Director (‘NED’) roles, leveraging her institutional sales and investment background.

She currently serves as a NED and Chairs the Investment committee of the largest management company (ManCo.) in Ireland, as well as sitting on their Audit Committee.  Adele is also Chair and NED on an Irish MiFID firm, as well as NED on both an Alternative Investment Funds ManCo and large UCITS Fund Company.  In her executive career, Adele was Managing Director and Head of BlackRock’s Institutional Client Business in Ireland from 2011 to 2023, as well as serving as an Executive Director on their ManCo.  Adele’s roles in sales and distribution at BlackRock date back to 1995, including her years with Barclays Global Investors in San Francisco up to 2002 and London to 2011.  She became a CFA charterholder in 2000 and a Chartered Director in 2023.
