'Guiding support for family carers'

Welcome to Kaleidoscope - Guiding Family Carers Back to Paid Employment

Supported by Pobal and the Department of Social Protection, the course is managed remotely by two Project Coordinators, Lisa Dunne and Aisling Harmon, who balance their part-time work with existing family caring roles.

Cohort 1 ran from May to July 2021 and Cohort 2 commenced in September 2021. To date, 42 people have accessed the Kaleidoscope course.

Course participants attend a 12 week course, with the aim of preparing them for paid employment. They have access to life coaches, a job brokerage service and mental health supports.

The project co-ordinators can be contacted by email
